Here is a quick summary of the Evolution of Trump’s War lies:
- 2/28 “We’ll be bombing throughout the week”
- 3/1 “4 weeks or less”
- 3/2 “4-5 weeks—it could also go less”
- 3/3 “We’re already substantially ahead of our time projections” (so now a 2-3 week estimate)
- We’re near 5 weeks. He now says he “always” said “4-6 weeks.”
Then, in his latest address to the nation (Wed night), he deployed some utterly incoherent bullshit …
- Iran was an imminent threat to destroy Israel because it never came close to doing so in 47 years. He explained that this non-war war is technically his third non-war war with Iran, as he won the first one in early 2020 by not fighting it.
- Iran is both 10 years away from developing a missile that can hit America and also would have done so 10 years in the *past* if Trump didn’t kill a guy. We know Iran has had its regime decapitated because it has the same president today it had before the war started.
- The 2015 Iran nuclear deal that drove Iran’s nuclear enrichment to zero was a dangerous fast-track to it enriching uranium into a bomb, even as not making any effort to get the nuclear material in Iran we know is there right now is the best way to *prevent* a bomb.
- Iran is shooting down our planes but has no AA guns. It has no missiles left, but is launching them daily. It has no leadership, and the leadership it does not have has successfully shut down the Strait of Hormuz. That shutdown is a global crisis we do not care about.
- We would’ve won this war we started without telling our allies if they’d joined us before we started it. The fact that they’re in a defensive alliance with us required them to engage in unprovoked aggression alongside us. Oh and Gas prices are insane but that might stop eventually.
If any of this is confusing you, you hate America and love terrorism. Any questions? No? Good. He is not answering questions at this time.
What is even crazier is that MAGA will lap all this up as divinely proclaimed Truth.
Meanwhile back in reality the blindly obvious truth is that Trump has caused chaos, mayhem, death, destruction, disruption, dissension, depletion of resources, and generated multiple decades of hatred and mistrust from friends and foe in the Middle East and beyond, then he walks away while telling the world he expects them to clean up his shit.

The phrase was already there in America’s political bloodstream long before Black quoted Jefferson, and the actual case Beckwith is whining about did not ‘get godly people out of the way’ at all. It literally upheld public reimbursement for bus rides to Catholic schools. So this is not history. It is a man angrily shadowboxing with a library
- Perhaps he thinks Thomas Jefferson was just Hugo Black wearing a fake mustache.
When Hank Kunneman instructs his congregation to do something, he expects them to “move quickly”: “We gotta learn, when God says something, move.”
- “Don’t think about it, just obey me because I speak for God” has some seriously strong cult vibes going for it.
- Real faith can survive questions. Counterfeit authority always needs urgency, because people who stop and think are much harder to control and manipulate.
“The Lord’s agenda through our President will be accomplished!” Trump prayer warriors urged to pray that God would “destroy the evil behind Trump Derangement Syndrome.”
- Calling all criticism of the grifter and rapist demonic is not theology. It is just fandom with incense.
- For those unfamiliar with the term, “Trump Derangement Syndrome” this is the miraculous condition where people notice the vile and corrupt things Trump actually says and does, and then dare to call it out.
- I do have to admit that calling Trump “God’s chosen vessel” is a truly weird way of admitting your cult has a franchise location in Mar a Lago
- So the party of freedom has reached the bold new position that democracy must be suspended to save democracy. Very normal. Very patriotic. Definitely not deranged at all.

- This is the oldest trick in the book. Take someone talking about compassion, justice, and human dignity, then yell ‘moral perversion’ loud enough to distract from the fact that you have no actual argument.

Dale Partridge asserts that “ultimately, it’s good for all women that men rule”: “Society was safer, less violent, and more ordered when women were not in authority.”
- Ah yes, the golden age of male rule: famously free of war, violence, corruption, and men doing wildly stupid things with power. Nothing says ‘women shouldn’t lead’ like centuries of men setting everything on fire and then calling themselves the solution.
- History is not on his side. Neither is basic decency.
- Prophet king? Please. He is less ‘Samuel anointing David’ and more ‘QVC Pharaoh with a gold-plated ego and a social media addiction.’
- We all know the truth – he is a TV politician with the spiritual depth of a casino buffet.
- This is less Sermon on the Mount and more Godfather at the state capitol
- Apparently some people read ‘Blessed are the peacemakers’ and somehow heard ‘Kiss the ring or get whacked.’
- If your worldview can be overturned by women with ballots, the problem is not women. It is your worldview.
- If women voting really is your biggest national threat, you may have lived an unbelievably sheltered life.
You do have to wonder something. In a world where over 80% of Evangelicals supported Trump are they actually reachable or are they too far gone now?
