- Dec 25, 2025 – bombed a random village in Nigeria because he claimed it was full of ISIS operatives. Reporters on the ground confirmed that was BS
- Jan 3, 2026 Invaded Venezuela and kidnapped the president to force a regime change, but when the deputy of that same regime offers him lots of oil, he accepts that and lets them stay in power.
… and so here we are now with a totally illegal and utterly pointless full scale war with Iran that threatens the stability of numerous nations right across the middle east and will send oil prices through the roof.

MAGA Christian Cranks
The nuttier right-wing religious fanatics within the MAGA cult are as always doing their thing. Previously I have posted a few prime examples to mock. However, in the past few weeks I’ve gone in a different direction.
Instead, I pick roughly about 5 examples, and analyse each explaining what it does, then adding a reality check, and also a far better counter argument that targets the same audience.
The goal is to persuade the Christian audience that are being manipulated by Christian Nationalist lies designed to weaponize sincere faith by enabling them to see the patterns and also offer an exit ramp
Here is this week’s offering …
I will however highlight something interesting. What is now clear is that when faced with genuine sincere faith Christian Nationalists are terrified that it exposes them as immoral and manipulative. Take for example how they reacted this past week to Democratic senate candidate James Talarico. They are desperate to discredit him …
- Jim Garlow warns Texans to be wary of Democratic senate candidate James Talarico: “This guy has heretical, anti-biblical views. Wolf in sheep’s clothing. Beware.“
- Republican congressional candidate Steve Toth fumes that Talarico is “the most unbiblical and evil man that has ever run for office”: “He is a terribly despicable human being.”
- Joel Webbon declares that Talarico is “a son of Satan.”
They have attacked James Talarico with language normally reserved for religious heresy or even demonic evil. When Mr Garlow calls a fellow Christian a wolf because they hold different policy views, then this is not theological discernment, it is political branding disguised as theology. Notice with the second one how Mr Toth’s political rhetoric jumps immediately to absolute evil. What is happening there is that he has abandoned argument and moved into pure propaganda. As for Mr Webbon’s claim, the New Testament repeatedly warns Christians against this exact kind of judgmental condemnation. Even Jesus himself warned about casually labeling others as spiritually condemned.
If they wish to truly find examples that fit the metaphor of a wolf in sheep’s clothing, then they need look no further than the nearest mirror.
To understand why Mr Telarico terrifies them, just watch this clip …
He terrifies the far-right Christian Nationalists because he offers the faith community an off-ramp. There he stands as a direct challenge to the message promoted by some political pastors who claim that conservative politics is the only “biblical” option.
When someone outside the faith criticizes that claim, it is easy for them to dismiss the criticism as secular or anti-Christian. When a Bible-literate Christian does it, the argument becomes much harder to dismiss. The only play they have is to label him as evil and a spiritual threat. That is designed to bypass his arguments and just dismiss them because they are unable to counter his actual arguments which are far superior to anything they offer.
What he stands for is a reflection of a deeper struggle: – Does Christianity require political dominance, or does it call for humility and freedom of conscience?
Talarico represents the second view. For people invested in the first, that makes him a particularly threatening opponent.
