The deadly shooting in Minneapolis today was a straight-up execution of a protester by Trump’s federal brownshirts. The thugs wrestled him to the ground. They pistol-whipped him, then shot him multiple times. They murdered him. The videos don’t lie. A man is dead, killed in cold blood.
There is no conceivable justification for this intentional homicide. And make no mistake, that intentional, unjustified homicide was committed on behalf of Donald J. Trump.
Trump’s militarization of Minneapolis and other parts of our nation isn’t about illegal immigration. It’s not about enhancing public safety. It’s about destroying any sense of that safety—to intimidate political opponents, and to punish dissent. It’s about a corrupt, out-of-control regime’s effort to provoke citizens in order to justify the violence it desires to commit against them so that it can expand and retain its power.
That is fascism. It is tyranny. It is governmental criminality.
The ultimate legal check the Framers of our Constitution provided to stop this kind of tyranny and criminality in the executive branch is impeachment and removal of the executive.
Congress needs to do its job.
Now.

A truly disgusting Plot twist, Bondi is using what happened to blackmail Minnesota. We are talking about a conspiracy against the Constitution of mammoth scope in play…
This past week may indeed have been underlined by the above, but rather a lot more vile stuff happened, so let’s cover some of that.
“Board of Peace” a pay-to-play Axis of evil club
Trump’s newly established Board of peace is, as described by The Guardian, as a “pay-to-play” club with him playing the role of emperor. It is not just another of his cons, but is something also deeply dangerous and destabilising on the world stage.
The Guardian explains how he conned the UN and what his “club” rules say …
Like many punters who have tried to do business with Donald Trump in the past, the UN has found itself a victim of a classic bait-and-switch, thinking it was buying one thing, but getting quite another.
When they voted to endorse the board of peace in November, other members of the UN security council hoped they were binding Trump into a Gaza peace process, but it now appears they were hoodwinked into backing a Trump-dominated pay-to-play club: a global version of his Mar-a-Lago court aimed at supplanting the UN itself.
… the club rules, which make the chairman (Trump himself – the only person mentioned by name) all-powerful. All other members are selected by him and can be terminated by him. The chairman (mentioned 35 times in the document) can choose when the board meets and what it discusses. He can issue resolutions off his own bat.…
...A board of peace with Vladimir Putin as a candidate member is also very unlikely to stop the bloodshed in Ukraine. Its most likely fate is to remain a vanity project, while the rest of the world is stuck with the invitation from hell. Refusal to join, as France has tried, is punished by vengeful tariffs from a petty president.
Joining the board, on the other hand, involves undermining the UN, submission to Trump’s will and acquiescence in his vision of future of world governance – an imperial court where vassal states pay cash and vie for the ear of the orange emperor.
Meanwhile, I think Canada can consider this as a badge of honour …
Why the above revoke for Canada?
Because Carney spoke the truth at Davos and that pissed off the orange Napoleon. (More on this coming up).
Rob Rogers – Trump’s so-called “Board of Peace” is nothing but a collection of despots, murderers and thugs. Only the best people. #BoardOfPeace #Putin #Trump #Netanyahu #Davos #Gaza #Ukraine #Russia #Greenland
Carney @ Davos: “We are taking the sign out of the window“
The Canadian PM Mark Carney gave a this past week, one that he himself wrote. Some consider it to have been very pivotal and may prove to have been the most significant speech in the last 30 years on the international stage.
You can find the full text of it here.
Here are a few extracts …
… The power of the less powerful starts with honesty.…
…In 1978, the Czech dissident Václav Havel, later president, wrote an essay called The Power of the Powerless, and in it, he asked a simple question: how did the communist system sustain itself?
And his answer began with a greengrocer.
Every morning, this shopkeeper places a sign in his window: “Workers of the world unite.” He doesn’t believe it – no one does – but he places a sign anyway to avoid trouble, to signal compliance, to get along. And because every shopkeeper on every street does the same, the system persists – not through violence alone, but through the participation of ordinary people in rituals they privately know to be false.
Havel called this “living within a lie”.
The system’s power comes not from its truth, but from everyone’s willingness to perform as if it were true, and its fragility comes from the same source. When even one person stops performing, when the greengrocer removes his sign, the illusion begins to crack. Friends, it is time for companies and countries to take their signs down.…
…We have agreed a comprehensive strategic partnership with the EU, including joining Safe, the European defence procurement arrangements. We have signed 12 other trade and security deals on four continents in six months. The past few days, we’ve concluded new strategic partnerships with China and Qatar. We’re negotiating free-trade pacts with India, Asean, Thailand, the Philippines and Mercosur….
…The middle powers must act together, because if we’re not at the table, we’re on the menu…
…We are taking the sign out of the window. We know the old order is not coming back. We shouldn’t mourn it. Nostalgia is not a strategy, but we believe that from the fracture, we can build something bigger, better, stronger, more just….
Now that is vision and leadership that inspires – pragmatic and realistic “Nostalgia is not a strategy“
Trump has successfully destroyed the old relationship, and it will never be coming back. It is gone forever and Canada is moving on.
Meanwhile, after Carney completed his speech he heads back home and had no interest in either meeting Trump or listening to the word-shaped sewage he spewed at Davos.
Greenland
This happened …
- Call me a tad picky if you wish, but I really do feel that having a troll for a president is fucking stupid.
- I am however delighted that he added Marco. He should be closely associated with this shit for the rest of his life.
Oh, and he also tossed both Canada and also Greenland as part of the US i this one …
Just to be clear, he came back from Davos with absolutely nothing as the “reward” for destroying the US relationship with our closest allies, and so he does his usual thing of claiming his incompetence was a victory.
He, and all those around him, really are very very stupid …
- Hint: Penguins don’t live in Greenland, they all reside on the other side of the planet.
As for how people in Greenland see things, there was this …
Rob Rogers – Trump said he wants to invade Greenland because he felt snubbed by Norway over the Peace Prize. If anyone else said this they would be escorted to a mental health facility. Corruption on a truly epic scale

ICE Gestapo updates
There is a lot more to cover regarding the consequences of these masked fascists roaming the streets.
You don’t need to be psychic to guess that she was not white …
We also had the below this past week, that translates to this – “Stop calling ICE the Gestapo! ICE is nothing like the Gestapo. Now, let me innumerate all the many ways ICE is exactly like the Gestapo. Thank you for your attention to this matter.“
- In other words, Senator McDaniel has has a cranial rectal issue (his head is completely buried up his ass).
The be clear, ICE are being told that they can do whatever they want …
Beyond yesterday’s incident ICE have been murdering other people …
ICE detains 5 year old …
ICE detains 2 years old …
William Wolfe declares that “when we win and write the history books of this era, ICE agents will be remembered and honored as the heroes who saved America from the violent foreign hordes of illegal immigrants—very much like the Greatest Generation and their fight against Nazis in WWII.
- “when we win” … never going to happen.
- They will indeed be “remembered”, but not in a good way, they are the SS of this generation.

MAGA Christian Cranks
The nuttier right-wing religious fanatics within the MAGA cult are as always doing their thing, and so here are this week’s samples.
Eric Metaxas says the anti-ICE protestors who disrupted a church service were “following in the footsteps of the KGB” and the Gestapo.
- This comparison is wildly disproportionate and rhetorically reckless. Equating protesters disrupting a church service—however disruptive or inappropriate that may be with the KGB or the Gestapo collapses all meaningful moral and historical distinction. Those were secret police organizations responsible for surveillance states, torture, disappearances, and mass murder. Using their names to describe protesters is not analysis; it’s inflationary demonization.
- If he is looking for something more akin to the KGB and the Gestapo then he need look no further than ICE, who are terrorising, murdering, and disappearing people. He can’t make that leap because he supports the orange tyrant.
Will Chamberlain claims that the protest was “the closest thing we’ve had for left-wing protesters doing something akin to Jan. 6.”
- Disrupting a church service, even loudly or aggressively, is not remotely comparable to January 6, which involved an organized attempt to halt the constitutional transfer of power, violent assaults on police, coordinated breaches of a secured government building, and explicit threats against elected officials. The core feature of Jan. 6 wasn’t protest; it was an effort to overturn an election by force.
Joshua Haymes used his Martin Luther King Jr. Day program to explain that King was “worse than Stalin.“
- Racists-R-Us appears to be Joshua incarnate
- Claiming that Martin Luther King Jr. was “worse than Stalin” is historically and morally absurd. King dedicated his life to nonviolence, equality, and expanding civil liberties, while Stalin presided over mass purges, forced famines, and state terror that killed millions. Equating the two conflates fundamentally different actions, motives, and consequences, turning serious historical discourse into hyperbolic sensationalism. King’s legacy is rooted in advancing freedom and justice; Stalin’s in crushing it.
Rep. Eric Burlison thinks that “if we had had four more years of Joe Biden, we really were at the precipice of no longer recognizing this country.“
- It is literally Trump who is doing that, and it took him far less that 4 years.
- Framing normal political disagreement as an existential crisis exaggerates differences and inflames fear … but that’s exactly the outcome he is going for.
- When she says “I do think“, then let me state the obvious. When it comes to literally anything and everything she says, then this flat-earth believing nut who has confessed that she used to run drugs for a cartel, does exactly no thinking … ever.
- Like most I’m not a Laura Loomer fan, but there is an important principle here: Claiming that someone’s “DNA is tainted,” that they carry a “demon,” or belong to a “non-human bloodline” echoes ideas historically used to strip people of humanity in order to justify exclusion, persecution, or violence. This kind of language has appeared repeatedly in white supremacist, fascist, and antisemitic ideologies, where opponents are cast not merely as wrong, but as biologically corrupt or inhuman.
- There is no such thing as a “non-human bloodline.”, that claim is biologically nonsensical and reflects magical or occult thinking, not science. However, that’s not the key point. The issue is that such rhetroic is dangerous. It abandons reality in favor of a dehumanizing fantasy, reinforcing how extremist movements slide from politics into cult-like belief systems where opponents are no longer human beings, but imagined monsters.
- This is a common pattern you will encounter within Christian Nationalism.
Lauren Witzke and Edward Szall announce that they have “huge stuff planned for 2026″: “We are going to prove to the world that God is real.”
- This is performative religious grandstanding.
- The assertion that they will “prove to the world that God is real” runs into the immediate and very familiar problem: claims about God are metaphysical, not empirical. For centuries, philosophers and theologians, many of them believers, have acknowledged that God is not something that can be proven. Faith, by definition, is not the result of a demonstrable proof. If such proof were possible, it would have been produced long ago, not teased by minor cranks like these two who are motivated by a deep passionate desire for relevance and influence.
- Another common pattern is illustrated by this claim where he flips reality on its head; An insurrection is an attempt to overthrow the state – Jan 6; A protest, is just that, a protest – Anti-ICE protests.
- His inversion is not constitutional analysis; it’s partisan mythmaking. If protests against government policy are labeled insurrection while an attack on Congress to stop an election is not, then the word “insurrection” no longer describes reality, and so this is language being used to obscure accountability.
Joshua Haymes wants to take America “back to 1750”: “I want to take us back to a time when we were 99 percent Christian.“
- His happy times 1750 date is when slavery was just fine, women had no political or legal rights, and the US did not exist.
- As for that 99% claim. Total BS. The colonies were religiously fragmented, many people were nominally religious at best, and large populations such as the Indigenous peoples, enslaved Africans, freethinkers, deists, Jews, and others, were either excluded from that count or actively suppressed. Claiming near-total Christian homogeneity only works if you erase entire groups of people from the story.
- Bible is very explicitly anti-racist (“there is neither Jew nor Greek”), but Fascist Pastor Joel is of course oh so very racist.
- It is not just him, blatant in your face racism is correlated with Christian Nationalism. Andrew Whitehead points Pew survey data that confirms this. He also points out that Religion in the US, and particularly CN, is racialized. Study available here: journals.sagepub.com/doi/full/10…. (Reach out to him if you want a copy of the PDF, full access blocked because of that peer-review journal paywall)
Christian Nationalist Rick Green cannot stop gushing over President Donald Trump: “You have to say that Donald Trump is the best negotiator in the history of mankind. If he had been there instead of Abraham, he probably would have figured out a way to save Sodom and Gomorrah.“
- Those of us outside the cult can very clearly see this as an assertion untethered from facts, which is a typical Christian Nationalist thing to do. Trump’s record includes highly publicized negotiation failures, abandoned deals, broken agreements, and policy outcomes that often relied more on brinkmanship and spectacle than durable results. Serious negotiation is measured by sustained outcomes, not self-promotion.
Lance Wallnau is alarmed by the bruising on President Donald Trump’s hands: “I am worried that they keep boosting him with that poison spike protein vaccine!“
- A guy whose entire career has been devoted to promoting religious mythology as fact to simply enrich himself, also promotes into other popular myths … I’m shocked, I tell you, shocked.
- Fact Check: There is exactly zero evidence that bruising on Donald Trump’s hands has anything to do with vaccines, “spike protein poisoning,” or secret medical interventions. Bruising in older adults is extremely common and can result from minor trauma, medications like blood thinners, routine medical procedures, or simple skin fragility. Leaping from a visible bruise to a clandestine poisoning narrative is not concern; it’s speculative fear-mongering.
- But hey, this is Lance Wallnau, “rampant conspiracy theorist” is very much one tick on his CV. Another is his persistent drive to replace facts with fear in order to manipulate.
Just to hammer home the depths of the moral bankruptcy within Christian Nationalism, the Christian Theobros are celebrating and praying for more murder and chaos.
Meanwhile, for some sanity is starting to prevail. Here is some good news …
